My Journey Here
As a dedicated science teacher for the past 5 years, I have honed my skills in teaching, mentoring and managing classrooms while developing an insatiable curiosity for the data-driven insights that come from the scientific method. With a desire to take my analytical abilities to the next level,
I have been taking classes and learning skills on the side to transition into a data analyst role.
I have a solid foundation in data analysis, including experience with Excel, R, and SQL, and am familiar with various data visualization and reporting tools.
I have also gained experience in statistical analysis, experimental design, and data modeling through coursework and independent projects.
In addition to technical skills, I bring to the table excellent problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas to a wide range of audiences.
As a science teacher, I have learned to be patient, organized, and adaptable to the unique needs of each student, skills that translate well to the world of data analytics.
I am excited about the opportunity to bring my skills and passion for data analysis to a role as a data analyst and to continue to learn and grow in this dynamic field.
